As the Finance Operations Specialist at Saavedra & Perez, I work behind the scenes to ensure our firm’s financial operations support our mission of serving clients with integrity. I bring 18 years of experience and a background in International Affairs, History, and Latin American Studies, plus my Master’s degree in Social Innovation and Change Management.
My role involves managing the financial systems that allow our team to focus on what matters most—advocating for our clients.
Why this work matters to me
Not every law firm has the best interest of their clients in mind. My role in financial operations ensures we can continue serving our clients with integrity and sustainability.
Where do I feel like I belong?
I always experience a feeling of belonging when I am in a place where I feel I share ties with the people who live there. This makes it possible to feel that I belong in places where I may not have direct familial ties to, but the kindness of the people who live there, the depth of the culture, the echoes of the history—all of these are elements that make me feel connected to a place.
Family, soccer, and tacos
My favorite things include spending time with my family, watching my sons play soccer, traveling and getting to know new places, and eating tacos. There’s something special about exploring new destinations and discovering the stories that make each place unique.
